A little---no, big---conversation

Tonite when I went to kiss my big boy good nite after a big day at his karate tournament, he had some things on his mind. Here's how it went:

B: "Mom, tonite at karate I heard XX say 'Oh my God'. Does that mean she doesnt believe in God?"

Me: "No, it just means that she doesnt think its bad to say God's name in that way. Ya know, we believe that we shouldnt say that bc its not being respectful to Him. She may not know the difference. Does that make sense?"

B: "Yes. I'm glad. I was afraid she didnt believe in Him."

Me: "Ya know, I love that about you. I have a feeling you're going to tell a lot of people about God in your life."

B: "Yep. Ya know, every belt level I've been so far, I've asked at least ONE person if they believe in God. They always say yes. I asked someone today...a blue belt...and I'm not going to stop, even all the way up to black belt."

Me: "I think that makes God happy."

B: "Yea. It makes me happy too."

Me: "Me, too."

If I could freeze time, I would. He's amazing...
